We are pleased to announce that as from the 1st February 2013 all paid up members of Warley Park Golf Club now have insurance cover for any third party damage caused by them whilst playing golf at any club in the UK (and limited cover whilst abroad). The policy also covers the member for a small amount of personal injury cover and notably the reimbursement of your subscription fee should you have an accident whilst playing golf that prevents you from playing for any length of time.
The Members Committee has decided to pay for this from the levy fee which you pay each year as part of your subscription.
Additionally the management of the club have decided to pay for a separate similar cover for all Guests to the club meaning that any incident on site should be covered regardless of whether it can be proved exactly who hit the ball.
Finally those better golfers among you may also be pleased to know that there is also ‘Hole In One’ cover included for up to £75 towards your bar bill!
As always there are of course terms and conditions so please read the attached policy summary to ensure you understand both what is covered and the claims procedures. It is imperative that any claim is reported within 14 days so we are asking that should you believe a claim is necessary that you contact either Kevin Smith or Keith Regan within 7 DAYS of any incident / hole-in-one to allow us time to help you submit the relevant paperwork on time.
