Yes, we know that it’s only March and the last thing you want to think about is Christmas. But here at Warley Park Golf Club, we are incredibly excited about our proposed festive menu for Christmas 2016.
Increasingly, people are looking for vegetarian or gluten free options. Some of us choose not to eat meat for ethical reasons; others believe that a meat-free diet is healthier. Some decide to avoid gluten while others have no choice – coeliac disease is a condition that affects one in one hundred people in the UK and is a lifelong auto-immune disease. Coeliacs react badly to gluten, which can cause bloating, nausea, anaemia, tiredness, hair loss and much more.
Whether it’s a lifestyle choice or dietary requirement, we firmly believe that just because you don’t or can’t eat meat or gluten, you shouldn’t feel like a second class citizen when it comes to eating out. And if you can’t enjoy yourself at Christmas, when can you?
Warley Park’s talented and experienced chefs have been hard at work devising a delicious Christmas 2016 menu. Of course we have the traditional turkey and trimmings you would expect from a festive menu, but there are healthier options, in addition to gluten free and vegetarian alternatives.
