When a loved one dies, making arrangements is not an easy task. You have lost someone dear and as such, you want the funeral and subsequent wake to commemorate them in the best possible way.
You want to choose the right casket, the right flowers, the perfect poem. You want to write a eulogy that encapsulates their life and what they meant to you and the people that mattered. And most of all, you want to be able to smile through the tears, knowing you’ve done that person proud.
When you come away from the church or crematorium, often the last thing you want to do is be ‘sociable’. Yet in the right place, with the right atmosphere and the knowledge that the people in the background can be relied upon, the wake can become something to treasure. An opportunity to commiserate and reminisce about times gone by. A time to laugh, cry and raise a glass to the person no longer with you.
Situated in the picturesque village of Little Warley, Brentwood, Warley Park Golf Club is the perfect venue for a wake. Our wakes are managed with compassion, sensitivity and understanding – we know how traumatic losing a loved one can be and do our utmost to make the experience as positive as possible.
We promise you that you can rely on us.
Whether you choose one of our packages from just £11 per person or want to tailor make your own, we are more than happy to discuss your individual requirements and help take away the stress at this difficult time. Our front of house team are always on hand to provide assistance, advice and support.
