Avoid the stress of organising the office Christmas party by booking Warley Park

For many, Christmas is a stressful time. Not least for the poor person trying to organise the annual office Christmas party!

One issue that always raises its ugly head when trying to book for a large number of people is meal choices. We all have different dietary requirements – some people will want the traditional turkey with all the trimmings whilst others will need a vegetarian option. Some won’t be happy if there’s no sign of the Christmas pudding with brandy sauce; others won’t be able to tolerate gluten.

It’s not surprising that many people desperately try to avoid the subject for as long as possible.

However, the best places get booked up quickly. The sad fact is that if you haven’t organised your Christmas party by the end of September, it’s likely that your first choice will no longer be available.

So to help you overcome the dread of choosing where to hold your festive celebrations, Warley Park is here to make your life a little easier.

Warley Park’s talented chefs have devised a delicious, eclectic menu that not only features those festive favourites, but takes into consideration that many people have specific dietary requirements.

Starters include chicken liver and clementine pâté served with apple and plum chutney and ciabatta croutes. Gluten free and vegetarian options include butternut squash, orange and ginger soup, crab and cantaloupe melon salad and mixed melon cocktail with ginger syrup.

As for main courses – well, you can’t have a festive menu without the traditional breast of turkey with kilted sausage, cranberry and pistachio stuffing and gravy! Or how about roasted pork belly on braised red cabbage? Cajun roasted monkfish on leek mashed potatoes with homemade mango salsa and a citrus butter sauce is gluten free, whilst butternut, gruyere and quinoa roulade with pilaff rice is both gluten free and suitable for vegetarians. All are served with roast potatoes and seasonal vegetables and all gravies and sauces are gluten free.

What about dessert? Traditional Christmas pudding (also vegetarian) is on the menu, along with an indulgent chocolate fudge yule slice with jubilee cherries and cinnamon Chantilly cream. If you’re following a gluten free diet you could opt for a mulled spiced winter fruit compote with Greek yoghurt and honey, or an almond and butterscotch tart with clotted cream vanilla ice cream and bourbon syrup. Although let’s face it – it doesn’t matter if you’re gluten intolerant or not – those desserts sound delicious!

So if you’ve always stressed about how to accommodate a large group’s dietary needs at the Christmas party, stop panicking, calm down and give Warley Park a call today!
