The objectives of Get Golfing are to increase participation in golf, nurture a culture of inclusion at our venues, and promote the use of our facilities to non-golfers and other non for profit organisations within our communities.
Get Golfing’s CEO, Edward Richardson, proposed that we collectively adopt a different strategy for 2022 where the Club as a whole dedicate its support to one local charity. Corbets Tey School – Their Vision
To strive to have a learning culture where we aspire for success for every member, where thinking, problem solving and risk taking are encouraged. A journey to success where barriers are only hurdles to be overcome and challenges stimulate our learning. We are committed to giving our best in all we do to ensure our children are prepared for the future, both through engaging, meaningful education and by developing confidence, self-belief and resilience. Corbets Tey School is a school for pupils with Complex Learning Needs. The school is a state maintained, foundation special school situated in Upminster, Essex in the southeast of the London Borough of Havering. Up to 155 children and young people attend the school aged 4 to 19, all with Education, Health and Care Plans detailing educational needs including communication and interaction difficulties, Autism and medical syndromes and physical and sensory needs. The school is split over two sites with Pre-16 students at the main site in Upminster and Post 16 students at the CTS at The Avelon provision in Rainham.
